The Aboriginal Achievement Center for Excellence Inc. (AACE) is Canada’s first national Supplemental Education Company exclusively focused on Aboriginal Students. AACE was founded in 2010 to improve life outcomes for First Nations, Métis and Inuit (FNMI) Students across Canada by providing unique, Aboriginal-focused Supplemental Learning Solutions.
Our first step, as a company, was to establish an Advisory Board comprised of Aboriginal Educators, Administrators, Community Leaders, Knowledge Keepers and other stakeholders to guide the process of design and creation, in order to ensure a truly Aboriginal offering.
Medicine Wheel Metrics, a best-in-class Welfare Evaluation Framework, uses AACE PredictiveAnalytics to create custom programming, tailored to the learning needs of each student, and anticipate to which learning activities the student will best respond. Medicine Wheel Metrics also provides caregivers with real-time information and data on student progress and in-depth measures, such as: Grit Scores, Happiness Inventory, among others.
The AACE programs are delivered through Learning Centers, as well as at-home Programs, like AACE Achieve, that serve to enhance standard curricula outcomes and improve student achievement.
AACE Programs also, importantly, integrate culturally-affirming elements to celebrate the culture and traditions of First Nations, Métis and Inuit Communities and serve to foster a sense of belonging in our Students.
